Welcome!

On behalf of the people of Holy Trinity Church in the lovely colonial town of Onancock on Virginia’s Eastern Shore, welcome!

The Holy Trinity faith community has been an essential part of the Episcopal Church’s presence in Accomack County since 1880. We are proud of our historical roots and are committed to the spread of God’s Kingdom in this beautiful part of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Our congregation is made up of “Born Heres,” folks who have been part of the Eastern Shore for generations, as well as “Come Heres,” those who have put down roots to work and raise families or have retired here to enjoy the quiet ambiance of “the Shore.”

As a small, strong, family-oriented congregation, we value our life together in community, in worship characterized by full participation and uplifting music, and in service to those persons and agencies in our midst who need partners in the ongoing struggles of life. We strive to meet these opportunities with determination and faith in God “who makes all things new.”

Whether you are searching for a church home, visiting the Eastern Shore, or simply curious about Holy Trinity, we hope you will visit us. We welcome your questions and inquiries by phone or email and look forward to welcoming you in person.

The church will provide meat, cheese, and vegetable lasagna, along with beverages and table service. Parishioners are invited to bring a salad, bread, vegetable side dish, or dessert to share.
