Holy Trinity
Holy Trinity is a committed
community of Christians living in the central part of Virginia’s
Eastern Shore. The Church is located in Onancock, a quaint, charming community
on the shores of Onancock Creek, a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay. The church
is on the town’s main street at the edge of the downtown district. Just a few
blocks away is the town's wharf where boats can be launched or left in permanent
berths.
Holy Trinity is a place to know God.
Worship is at the center of our life. Through prayer, music, preaching,
sacraments, and Christian formation we come to know and seek a closer
relationship with God.
Holy Trinity is a place to know one
another. We are a community of faith, where people know one another and
share in life’s joys and challenges. As part of this Christian community you
are never alone.
Holy Trinity’s mission is to
welcome all and to grow closer to God and each other. We seek to fulfill that
mission through meaningful worship, prayer, study, pastoral care, and outreach.
We rely on God’s grace to be the Body of Christ to encourage spiritual growth,
healing, parish renewal, and ministry to the community and the world.
